Three major changes have been brought to communities using Hippo Rollers. The first is that more water can be carried in a single journey. The second is that people are saved from transporting heavy weights on their heads each day. The third is that men in the communities have been so impressed by the rollers they have begun to collect that water themselves thus sharing the burden with the women in the community.
We work with RED International to distribute the Hippo Rollers to communities. Please note that the money box is produced in South Africa and therefore there is a leadtime of 6 -12 weeks.
